Position Summary :
Assists Emergency Department nurses with the comfort and care of the ED patients. Greets patients upon arrival to the department and facilitates throughput in triage as directed by the triaging RN.
Meets with patients as needed to resolve complaints. Provides back up to unit secretary as needed. The ER tech may obtain IV access collect lab specimens and perform EKG’s as required.
